Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This describes what Claimlink collects and why.

1. Data Compliance & Cross-Border Processing

Claimlink operates in strict compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). By creating an account or using our tags, you explicitly consent to the collection, cross-border transfer, and processing of your data as detailed below.

2. What We Collect and Why

Owner Data: To operate your tag’s contact page, we store the specific details you provide when claiming or updating it (item name, your name, and your chosen contact methods like email). No phone or WhatsApp numbers are collected during registration.

Finder Notes: We store the contents of any text note a finder writes so that it can be displayed in your owner inbox. We do not prompt for, collect, or store finder contact info.

3. United States Infrastructure Disclosure

Our primary server infrastructure, data buckets, and off-site encrypted backups are hosted in the United States. Your personal data will be securely transferred outside of the Philippines to be stored on these US servers. Our infrastructure vendors process data strictly to host our service and hold no independent rights to use your information.

4. Data Retention & Your Rights (Right to Erasure)

Under the Data Privacy Act, you retain full rights to access, correct, or request the absolute deletion of your personal records.

Because Claimlink does not use an email verification system (relying entirely on physical claim codes), any request to delete data or exercise your privacy rights must be sent directly to support@claimlink.asia from the email address listed inside your active tag dashboard. If you have lost your claim code and password, we cannot verify your identity to process an erasure, but your records will still automatically purge under our 3-year inactivity rule. Please note that deleting your data permanently disables your active tags.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage solely to keep you logged into your dashboard and to secure your session. These files do not track your browsing habits across the internet or harvest your data for marketing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from logging into your Claimlink account.
